I remember gazing up at the light above the see, seeing everything we’ve done come back to me. Yet tinges of the past colour endless strands in rings, visions of an endless life where our love can grow and sing. I’ve seen the brightest light, I’ve seen the greenest leaves, and every night I wish upon the stars beyond the eaves. Who are we to know? Who are we to care? I remember spheres of air coalescing on command. I could see the stars fall at my feet though held them in my hands. Yet through the empty void I clung to the unknown, flashes of a memory from a mind I didn’t own. I’ve seen my people die, I’ve heard my people weep, and every night I cry alone wondering how you can sleep.
But who are we to know? Who are we to care?
